 To start with here are my top ten picks for fun:

  • Velvet Lips- A lounge with great food, and game room with antique pool table.  Great shops are located nearby.

  • Staller Winery- A nice local winery with a supper club across the street that specializes in duck. http://www.stallerestate.com/
  • The Sweet Spot Coffee Shop- Coffee, Sandwiches and Ice Cream drinks to enjoy during the summer.

  • Nailtique- Located just two blocks from my house, Nailtique is a fun place to get your nails done.
  • Natureland County Park- It is on the way back to the inn from the Winery if you would like a quick walk in the woods and picnic.
  • The Fuzzy Pig- A country mall with a fun little place for lunch.

  • Soap and Pepper- They sell fabulous gadgets for cooking, fun condiments to try, unique wines, and lots of lotions and potions.

  • The Farmer’s Markets- Thursday evenings at Cravath Lakefront and Saturday morning’s in Wal-Mart parking lot.

  • Fireside Dinner Theater- A fun place for dinner and a show.

We were in our element…..biking on country roads (with only an occasional car) with lotsa cows, barns, corn, and endless peaceful, picturesque scenes!!! Memorable stays at B&Bs in Whitewater, Cambridge, and Wales….beautiful rooms, warm and wonderful hosts, incredible 3/4 course breakfasts, most interesting guests, and enjoyable walks in and around each town. One of our favorite times together! :-)
