Dinner at Central Coast

Would you like a little intrigue with your dinner? Central Coast Restaurant is serving up a mystery with dinner on February 27. Just a short 10 minute drive from the inn is one of my favorite places to eat. They will be offering a little something extra with their fabulous meal. Make an evening of dinner, entertainment,and then stay a little longer to enjoy their dance club. When you return to your guest room you can snuggle up by the fireplace or in your whirlpool to cap the night off just right.

A murder will take place at Central Coast on Feb. 27th

Come enjoy a full day of Winter fun at the 2010 Freeze Fest in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

Horse drawn wagon will take you to a variety of activities. Not sure you want to endure the Polar Plunge then warm up at chili cook off. Bring your skates to glide around outdoor Ice Skating rink or Learn about a favorite northern winter sport during a Snow Dog presentation.

Our goal is to make your stay with us an occasion to remember.

Your stay at the Hamilton House Bed and Breakfast includes early coffee service, a full breakfast as well as refreshments throughout the day. A Refreshment Center stocked with beverages and a variety of “nibbles” is conveniently located in the guest area. The Refreshment center features a microwave and refrigerator that are accessible to guests at all times.

Freshly baked Confection of the Day or other indulgence and beverage welcome you each afternoon.

Enjoy the convenience of Personal Concierge Services. Forgot something, just ask. We are happy to make dinner reservations for you or arrange for dinner to be ordered in. We are happy to assist in making arrangements for activities in the area.

Relax and unwind as we take care of the details. Enjoy quiet time together as a couple on the gazebo porch. Soak up the sun during a game of bocce ball or croquet. Swing away the cares of everyday life in the shade of the back garden.

Just bring your clothes and a bottle of wine. Rooms are complete with shampoo, soap, candles, and CD player. For your convenience we have made available; tea, coffee, and soda. popcorn and munchies. wineglasses, openers and stoppers. picnic baskets. hair driers, iron, and ironing board. books, games and music.

We endeavor to see that the details have thoughtfully been attended to. If we can do something to make your stay more comfortable, just ask. We will make every effort to accommodate all requests. Your imagination is the limit.

Biking across Wisconsin

This past summer we were one of the fortunate inns to host Bob and Ann during their bike trip through the countryside of Southeastern Wisconsin. We truly enjoyed their stay and it was great fun to live vicariously through them as they biked from inn to inn. I am pleased to share their gallery of photos taken during their travels.

We were in our element…..biking on country roads (with only an occasional car) with lotsa cows, barns, corn, and endless peaceful, picturesque scenes!!! Memorable stays at B&Bs in Whitewater, Cambridge, and Wales….beautiful rooms, warm and wonderful hosts, incredible 3/4 course breakfasts, most interesting guests, and enjoyable walks in and around each town. One of our favorite times together!

Ready for Fall?

There is a slight chill in the air and leaves are beginning to change. Are you ready to a fall get away? We are getting ready for the season change by testing new hearty receipts for fall. It is now time for baked goods filled with local apples, pumpkin, cinnamon and lots of TLC. We tried making marshmallows!!! very sticky, but yummy. Look for them with hot coco as the afternoon grow cooler. My favorite is a dried blueberry cookie. Great after an afternoon of Hiking through the State Forest. I am also on the look out for satisfying fare for our vegetarian guests and those that are gluten intolerant. It is always a delight to find something special for those with diet restrictions. Pardon me while I taste test the next treat. Mmmm. See you soon.
